How to cook whole red lentil curry at home | Sabut masoor ki dal | Masoor chi aamti
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Oil – 2-3 tbsp
Akha masoor / Whole red lentils – 1 cup
(Soak masoor overnight in water & then pressure cook for 3-4 whistles)
Water as required as per gravy consistency
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Giner Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Onion – 1 chopped
Tomato – 1 chopped
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Fresh coconut – 2 tbsp
Fresh cream – 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves – few
